Summary
Before you choose, we set only what the site cannot work without. Analytics cookies and marketing tools are used only if you agree. Before you choose, or if you reject them, some analytics tools still send basic measurements without cookies. The same rules apply wherever you are in the world.
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Browser storage works in a similar way. This policy covers both, along with the tools that set them. Our privacy notice explains how we use any personal data they collect.
Strictly necessary
These are set without asking because the site cannot work without them. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the site will stop working. They are never used for analytics or advertising.

These tell us how the site is used so we can improve it. The cookies and browser storage below are set only after you accept.

Before you choose, or if you reject analytics cookies, Google Analytics and PostHog still send basic measurements, such as that a page was viewed or which step of the tool a visit reached. They set and read no cookies and store nothing in your browser, so you cannot be recognised on a later visit. PostHog holds a temporary random identifier in memory so the steps of one visit can be linked, and it is gone when you close the tab.
Google Analytics runs through Google Tag Manager, which sets no cookies itself. Until you accept, we keep where your visit came from in memory only, so it is gone when you close the tab. Sentry, which tells us when something on the site breaks, sets no cookies.
Marketing, only if you agree
These let LinkedIn tell us which companies and job roles visit and whether our posts or adverts lead to submissions. They also let us show our adverts to people who have visited. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag, through Google Tag Manager, only if you agree. It never runs on scorecard pages or any other page that carries a private link.

We do not use Google, Meta or Microsoft advertising cookies. If we add any, we will list them here first and set them only if you agree.
Other services
Some pages may link to or embed services run by others, such as a booking tool for a call with Zebora. Those services may set their own cookies under their own cookie policies.
If we add features such as accounts or paid plans, any cookies they need, such as sign-in or checkout cookies, will be listed here before they are used.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page, at any time. The banner has Accept and Reject buttons of equal weight. Scrolling or carrying on browsing never counts as agreeing. If you reject after accepting, we delete the analytics and marketing cookies already set on our domain, and the analytics data kept in your browser's storage.
Keeping this policy up to date
The tables show what is set on the date at the top of this policy. We update them whenever we add, remove or change a tool. Cookie names and durations can also change when a provider updates its software.
We never set a new analytics or marketing cookie before listing it here. If a change affects what we ask you to agree to, we will ask you again through the cookie banner.
