RateMyPrompts terms of use

1. About us and these terms
RateMyPrompts (ratemyprompts.com) is a brand of theround ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 15402779, registered office 131 Finsbury Pavement, London EC2A 1NT, VAT number 459080279. "We" means theround ltd.
These terms apply when you use RateMyPrompts. Our privacy notice explains how we use personal data and our cookie policy explains cookies. Our consultancy brand, Zebora, has its own terms.
2. Who can use it
RateMyPrompts is for business use by people aged 18 or over, acting for a business. By using it you confirm that you are. It is not offered to consumers.
3. What the service is
You upload a list of prompts, the questions you use to track your brand in AI assistants. We grade the list against a published rubric and show a scorecard with recommendations.
The scorecard is an automated assessment of a list of questions. It is not advice, and it does not measure how visible your brand actually is. We make no promise about what results you will get from AI assistants or from following any recommendation.
We may change, suspend or withdraw the service, or the rubric, at any time. Scorecards show the rubric version they were graded against.
4. What you upload
You must have the right to upload the prompts you give us, including any information about other people or other companies inside them. Please do not upload anyone's contact details, or information that is confidential to you or someone else. The tool warns you if it detects contact details, but you remain responsible for what you upload.
You will compensate us for any claim by someone else that arises because you uploaded something you had no right to share.
5. Who owns what
Your prompts stay yours. You give us a limited licence to store, analyse and grade them, to show the results to you, and to use them to improve the grader, for as long as we keep them under our privacy notice, which is 30 days. If you tick the research box, you also allow us to use the set, with brand names and personal details removed, in published research. You can withdraw that at any time; research already published stays published.
The scorecard, the rubric and the method are ours. You may use and share your scorecard for your own business purposes, including with colleagues and clients.
Revised prompt sets. If you use the re-score feature, the revised set is yours on the same terms as the original.
6. Shareable links
Anyone with a scorecard link can see its scores and reasons, but not your prompt text. You decide who you share a link with.
7. Fair use
Do not:
- use automated tools to submit prompt sets in bulk or to get round the free-run limit or rate limits;
- try to access another person's scorecard controls, or the systems behind the service;
- upload anything unlawful, or that you have no right to share;
- copy the rubric or scorecards to build a competing product.
Each email address can open 3 full scorecards for free. We may limit or stop access for anyone who breaks these terms.
8. Zebora
RateMyPrompts is made by the same company as Zebora. Scorecards may suggest Zebora's services, and if you give us your email we may pass your enquiry to the Zebora team, as our privacy notice explains.
The Prompt Set Build (£1,250 for 50 prompts in one market, or £2,250 for 100 prompts across up to three markets, delivered in 10 working days, with 3 months of Pro) and the managed programme are Zebora services. They are agreed on a call and governed by a written proposal agreed before work starts, covering the scope, one round of revisions, the delivery date and payment. Fees for work already done are not refundable once work has started.
9. Pro and scorecard packs
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Pro costs £12 a month or £120 a year, plus any VAT Paddle charges. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. The checkout shows the renewal price and period before you pay. You can cancel at any time from your account page, the same way you signed up. Pro then stays on until the end of the period you have paid for.
Scorecard packs cost £15 for five full scorecards. They are used after your free scorecards and expire 12 months after purchase.
Features marked "Coming" on the pricing page are not part of Pro until they are released.
Refunds: if Pro or a pack is not right for you, ask within 14 days of your first purchase and Paddle will refund you in full. Support: privacy@theround.com.
10. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Otherwise, we are not responsible for loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the greater of £100 and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Ending
You can stop using RateMyPrompts at any time and ask us to delete your data at privacy@theround.com. We may stop providing it to you if you break these terms.
12. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. Only you and we have rights under these terms.
We may update these terms. We will show the new version and date here. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
